Use filters in the Booking Index to quickly find specific bookings. Filtering helps you focus on what matters most, whether reviewing upcoming bookings, managing cancellations, or preparing daily reports.

Which Checkfront version supports this feature - Classic Items, Classic Products, or both?
- The Booking Index is available to both those using classic items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our Classic Items version of Checkfront, and those using classic products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our Classic Products version of Checkfront.
Filtering by the booking index (step-by-step)
- Go to Reports > Booking Index.
- Apply one or more filters from the top of the report.
- View the filtered booking records.
Filtering by date source
- Start - the booking start date (default).
- End - the booking end date.
- Created - date the system created the booking.
You can also view bookings In Progress, those where the offering has started, but not ended.
Combining the date source and the date filter
Results depend on the other filter applied, for example, the Date filter:
- (Date Source = Start) + (Date=Today) = All bookings that start today.
Filtering by date
You can view results that match the following date presets using the Date filter.
- All
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last week
- Last 7 days
- Last month
- Last 30 days
- All - past
- Tomorrow
- This week
- This month
- Next 7 days
- Next 30 days (default)
- All past
- or All - upcoming
You can also filter by Custom dates, selecting a specific start and end date for the report.
Combining the date source and the date filter
Results depend on the other filter applied, such as the Date Source filter.:
- (Date Source = End + (Date=Today) = All bookings that end today.
Filtering by category
The Category filter allows you to display bookings with a specific category (or categories). Open the menu to select one or more categories to report on.
Have a long list of categories? A Search field within the filter allows you to enter the category's name (or a few letters) to help you find that elusive category!
You can clear your choice by clicking on the X next to the category list.

Filtering by tag
Tags identify bookings across categories when you enable the feature through Checkfront Labs. The Tag filter allows you to filter for bookings with a specific tag (or tags). Open the menu to select one or more tags to report on.
Do you have a long list of tags? A Search field by the tag's name (or a few letters) helps you narrow the list and find the tag(s) you need!
You can clear your choice by clicking the X next to the list of selected tags.

Filtering by item/product
The Item/Product filter allows you to display bookings for a specific item(s)/product(s). Open the menu to select one or more items/products to report on.
Do you have a long list of items/products? A Search field by the name (or a few letters) of the item/product helps you narrow down the list and spot the item(s)/product(s) you need!
You can clear your choice by clicking the X next to the list of selected items/products.

Filtering by status
The Status filter allows you to display bookings with a specific status (or statuses). Open the menu to select one or more statuses to report on.
Potential statuses include
- Pending
- Reserved
- Deposit,
- Paid
- Waiting
- Cancelled
- Pre-booking
- Void
- and other integration-specific or custom statuses, depending on your configuration and booking history.
Do you have a long list of statuses? A Search field by the status's name (or a few letters) to isolate the status(es) you need!
You can clear your choice by clicking the X next to the list of selected statuses.

Filtering by booking source
Your bookings may come from different sources. Use the Booking Source menu to report on bookings made through:
- Your website.
- A mobile device.
- Your Staff members/Partners.
Open the menu to select one or more sources to report on.
Have a long list of sources? A Search field by the source's name (or a few letters) helps you find the source(s) you need!
You can clear your selection by clicking the X next to the list of selected sources.

What is the website source? The Website source reflects bookings submitted from the Customer Booking Page. If you have integrated the booking portal into an external website, you can add the Provider column to identify the integration type from which the booking came, e.g., Droplet, WordPress, etc. |
Filtering by channel name
The Channel Name filter lets you filter for bookings by the reseller's name when using an external booking channel, such as myallocator or RezdyConnect.
Filtering by keyword search
Use the Search field to filter the Booking Index by keyword, including Booker Name, Booking ID, Email address, and more.

Filtering by booking form fields
The Booking Form Fields filter allows you to display bookings based on selected booking form fields. Open the menu to expand and choose one or more enabled booking form fields to report on.
You can filter the Dropdown Select, Multiple Choice Radio, Single Checkbox, and Multiple Checkboxes form field types. In contrast, the system automatically excludes Single Line Text, Paragraph Text, and HTML Output form field types.
The filter count in the dropdown menu reflects the total number of selected form fields. Select the Reset button to clear form field selections and start over.

Sharing or bookmarking a URL
Sharing the URL
You can share a link to the Booking Index!
- Copy the URL from the Booking Page browser address bar.
- Paste the link into the desired communication channel.
Clicking the link brings you to the Booking Index, where you can apply any Date Source, Date, Category, Tag, Item/ Product, Status, and Source filters.
To access the linked content, recipients of shared links need to have Staff account access to view the Booking Index. When they click the link, the system prompts them to log in if they have not already. Happy sharing!
Bookmarking the page
You can also bookmark the Booking Index page to quickly and easily return to your preferred view.
Remembering filters
You can configure your account to retain your filter selections within most reports and features, so you don't have to select your preferred filters repeatedly.
