Requiring a booking deposit on products

What is a booking deposit? A booking deposit is the portion of the booking cost you collect when the booking is first processed. You can then collect the remainder of the payment at a later time. |
By default, products are configured to Use System Settings 100%.

This system-wide deposit setting can be found within your Customer Deposit Settings (Manage > Ecommerce Setup > Customer Deposit Settings). |
Select the Deposit Type for this product from the following options or turn off the setting to not ask for a deposit.

By default, products use the Customer Deposit Settings you have configured within Ecommerce Setup (Manage > Ecommerce Setup > Customer Deposit Settings). This applies to any other products that share this setting. |
| % Percent | Use a percentage that you specify in the Amount field. This only applies to the product in focus. |
| Fixed Amount | Use a Fixed Amount that you specify in the Amount field. This only applies to the product in focus. |
| Per Day | Use a fixed amount Per Day that you specify in the Amount field. This only applies to the product in focus. |
| Per Qty | Use a fixed amount per Qty that you specify in the Amount field. This only applies to the product in focus. |
| You must keep the Require a deposit for this product. setting turned on to require a payment from Customers with their initial booking. |
