Signing a document
Back to topWhen it comes time for the Guest to sign the document, they click on the signature area to bring up the signature window.
Ensure your document contains a signature variable; otherwise, the signing area is not included in the live document. The default signature variable is {$field id="primary_signature"} |
Once the signature window has opened, it’s simply a case of holding down the mouse button and dragging the cursor to sign the document.
If the signature doesn’t look right, then clicking the Retry button clears the workspace, ready for another shot at it!
Once happy with the signature, the signee clicks the Add Signature button and inserts the signature into the document.
Once all sections are filled in and the steps are complete, the green status bar at the top reflects this and the Booker or Guest clicks on the Submit Document button.
If the Submit Document button is clicked before the steps are complete, the missing information is highlighted in the document, and the Booker or Guest must provide the information before proceeding.
The document is now complete!
The Booker or Guest can print or save the document from the Confirmation page to a PDF for future reference.
Once the Booker is ready to continue, they can either continue to the receipt page or return to the Required Documents step if there are more documents to sign.
A copy of the waiver is NOT sent automatically to the Booker when the document is signed. However, if the Booker sends the document to other Guests, then when the Guest signs the document, a completion email is sent to the Operator. |
