Checkfront integrates with Worldline (formerly Bambora) through their direct payment method. This provides a seamless checkout for your Customers and fully integrates into the Checkfront back-office app.

Setting up Worldline
Back to topCheckfront requires configuring Username/Password Validation in your Worldline account before Setup in Checkfront.
- Go into your Worldline account and Order Settings (Administration > Account Settings > Order Settings)
- For Security/Authentication, select Use username/password validation against transaction option.
- Enter in a new User Name and Password (must be different than login credentials).
- Click Update.

Configuring checkout redirect rules

With the Checkout Direct Rules setting enabled, you must either...
- Add your Checkfront domain name as an allowed domain, OR
- Use the Allow any domain name in the approval/decline redirect parameters option instead.

From the Ecommerce Setup page (Manage > Ecommece Setup > Payment) browse or search for Bambora (Worldline). The Payment Provider is listed under those available to your region.
Click on the Bambora (Worldline) tile to open the Add-on Setup modal.

Back to topAdd your Bambora (Worldline) merchant account details to the fields provided within the Add-on Setup modal.
Merchant ID
This is your Worldline Merchant ID, as found within your Worldline account.
Bambora Username
This is the Username configured for use with username/password validation against transaction feature in Worldline (formerly Bambora).
Bambora Password
This is the Password configured for use with username/password validation against transaction feature in Worldline (formerly Bambora).
Hash Key
This is your Worldine Hashkey, as found within your Worldline account.
Enable Interac Online
Choose this option, if you want to accept INTERAC® Online through Checkfront facilitated by the Worldline service.
Interac Merchant ID
This is your Interac Merchant ID, as found within your Worldline account.
Using the test environment
Back to topWorldline offers two merchant accounts: a Production account and a Test account. We recommend you test your checkout end-to-end with a Test account before switching to your Production account and putting your site live.

Requiring card security codes

Canada (and Worldline) has made Card Security Codes (CVV, CVV2, CVD, CVC...) mandatory for all card-not-present transactions, so the related setting Require CVC's for staff payments (Manage > Ecommerce Setup > Settings) has been disabled, and Credit Security Codes are now required for all Staff-side payments.

If Worldline is enabled with Stripe, Stripe is considered the Primary provider, and Worldline will be a Secondary provider, used for debit transactions only. You must also configure Worldline with the Enable Interac Online option enabled (with a valid Interac Merchant ID) to enable the secondary provider fully. |
