Checkfront has the power to customize pricing and scheduling to meet your unique business needs.
Basics of Configuring Prices
Back to topWhen setting up an item (Top Menu > Inventory > Item), you create Parameters on the Attributes page that define how your business charges customers. See example After creating Parameters, the prices are set on the Prices page.
Pricing Options
Back to topCheckfront can work with almost any pricing scenario. Common ones include:
- Pricing for high/low seasons
- Special pricing for particular days of the week
- Special pricing for a one-time event, such as the Christmas week.
You can set up time frames like these by creating Events. Follow this handy tutorial to learn how events work:
Group Pricing
Back to topIf you offer quantity discounts, you can easily set that in each item. Go to Inventory > Items > Select an item > “Pricing” page, and then follow these steps.
Discounts
Back to topYou can offer discounts based on specific conditions by combining Rules and Discounts. Watch how to set up an advanced purchase discount. Discount codes: You can create discount codes for customers by creating a new Discount and filling in the “Discount Code” box, which can be anything you want. When your customers are on the “Book Now” tab, they put in the code to receive the discount. Have a Groupon deal? Our system can easily handle Groupon vouchers.

Back to topMinimum Days
If you require minimum days to be booked, use Rules. Watch a quick video on setting up a 2-day minimum. What if you have a 7-day minimum only during your peak season? Then you combine a 7-day minimum rule attached to an event that specifies your peak season date range.
Tiered Pricing
If you offer better pricing, say based on booking 4+ days, or offer a weekly rate, you use a combination of Rules and Events. Go through this tutorial to learn how to combine them: Tiered Pricing Guide
