Locate: Inventory > Categories > Assets tab
Prerequisite: Admin privileges or permissions to manage Products and Assets.
A system-generated numerical ID used to identify your Asset Categories in various places throughout Checkfront.
The Name of your Asset Category. This is not visible to the Customer and is used for the internal organization of your Assets
The Description of your Asset Category and what is included within that Asset Category.
The total number of different Asset types that you have.
For example, two different types of Tour Buses (Single Level and Double Decker) would be two separate Asset Groups.
Assets represent the total number of available Assets in an Asset Category. An example would be, six Single Level Tour Buses and four Double Decker Tour Buses. Which would be ten total available Assets in that Category.
Sorting the ColumnsBack to top
Clicking on an Asset Category column header will organize the rows for that column into alphabetical or numerical order. After clicking, a small arrow will appear in the header cell, as seen above. If the arrow is pointing up, this means the data in the row is in ascending order. If the arrow points down, the data is in descending order. Refresh the page to reset the column back to its original state.
