Where can I find this feature using the top menu?
Once the Membership feature has been enabled in Checkfront Labs, you can find the feature via the following menus.
- Inventory > Memberships > Create or edit memberships > Details tab
- Customers > Memberships > Create or edit memberships > Details tab
What more do I need to use this feature?
- The Memberships feature needs to be enabled by Admins for all Staff through Checkfront Labs (Manage > Checkfront Labs).

Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new or both?
- Your account must have access to products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our new version of Checkfront. This feature is not available for use with items (Inventory > Items) in our classic version. → Learn more about products.
Setting up the details of your membership planBack to top
From the Details tab of the Membership Plan Builder (Inventory or Customers > Memberships > Membership Plan Builder > Details), you can add or edit your membership plan details.

Enter or edit the name of your membership plan, for example:

Editing membership SKUsBack to top
The SKU is generated for your membership plan automatically when you enter the Membership Name.
You can add or edit the unique identifier for your product. This can be any combination of letters and or numbers. No other membership plans can use the same SKU.
Selecting, changing, and creating membership categoriesBack to top
You can select, change, or create the category associated with your membership plan. For example, you can add a Membership Plans category to group all your membership plans.
Categories are used externally within the Customer Booking Page and Staff-side reports and tools. Categories determine the organization and presentation of your membership plans.
Need help finding the category you need on the list? Open the Category menu, start typing the name of the category and then select it from the list.
You can also create a new category by typing the new category name directly into the field provided.
You can manage your categories centrally with the Categories list (Inventory > Categories > Products). Learn more here:
Adding photos to your membership planBack to top
From the Photos setting, you can add photos for display within your membership plan.
Add up to 5 photos. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, and GIF at a max size of 10MB each.
You can drag and drop a file from your computer into the designated upload area or click on that space to open a File Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows) on your computer and select the file for upload.
The first image listed within the Membership Builder is the main image displayed for this membership on the booking page.
To remove an image, hover over the image and click the trash can icon in the bottom-right corner.
Adding a description to your membership planBack to top
Provide a brief description of your membership plan offering for the booking page.
Use our editor to format the description for display. Format the text using the options provided (format, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, lists, link, line, align, size, text colour) or work with HTML code (<>).
When pasting existing text into the text editor, the formatting is sometimes carried over.
There are two ways to remedy this if the behaviour is not wanted:

Sort by Ascending Order
You can reverse the display order of membership plans (and products) so that all offerrings display within ascending order by enabling the Sort by setting within your Booking Page settings (Manage > Layout > Booking Page). Learn more here:
