Where can I find this feature using the top menu?
Once the Membership feature has been enabled in Checkfront Labs, you can activate memberships for Customers via the following menu.
- Customers > Directory > {Click Customer name} > Memberships > Activate
What more do I need to use this feature?
- The Memberships - Members only Products feature needs to be enabled by Admins for all Staff through Checkfront Labs (Manage > Checkfront Labs)
- Admin or estricted permissions to View Customer List and Edit Customers.
Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new or both?
- Your account must have access to products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our new version of Checkfront. This feature is not available for use with items (Inventory > Items) in our classic version. → Learn more about products.
Activating memberships
Back to top1. Start by accessing the Customer Directory either from the Customers menu at the top of the page or via Step 3 of the Membership Builder.
2. Select the Customer for whom you want to activate the membership.
3. On the Customer Profile page, find the list of active Membership plans and click Activate next to the plan you would like to add the Customer to. The Customer is now a Member of the plan and is granted all access to membership benefits.
Archived memberships are not visible within the Memberships list. |
Cancelling a membership
Back to topClick Cancel to remove the Customer from an active Membership plan in the Memberships area. The Customer is automatically removed from the plan.
Requiring Customer Logins
Customer logins are required and enabled for Memberships.
