Booking Members Only products for Customers as Staff

Learn how to book membership products for your Customers from the Customer Directory and Customer Profile.

Where can I find this feature using the top menu?

Once the Membership feature has been enabled in Checkfront Labs, you can book members-only products for your Customers

  • Customers > Directory > {Click member's name} > + New Booking 

 

What more do I need to use this feature?

  • The Memberships - Members only Products feature needs to be enabled by Admins for all Staff through Checkfront Labs (Manage > Checkfront Labs)
  • Admin permissions or restricted permissions to create bookings.

 

Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new or both?

  • Your account must have access to products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our new version of Checkfront. This feature is not available for use with items (Inventory > Items) in our classic version. → Learn more about products. 
     

 

Booking Members Only products for Customers with active memberships

Customer Directory Menu Item

1. Go to the Customers Directory (Customers > Directory).

 

Customers Directory

2. Click the name of the Customer you would like to book.

 

New Booking

3. From the Customer Profile, click + New Booking.

 

Book Membership Product

4. Book the members only product for the date required. 

 

Booking Members Only products for Customers without active memberships

Members Only Products Staff

Follow the steps listed in the section above with one difference. As an Admin or Staff Member, a warning label displays when booking a Members Only product for a Customer without an active membership. You can then decide whether to proceed with the booking or not.
