Editing assets from Product Builder
Back to topYou can edit an asset pool linked to a product by clicking the Edit option next to the asset listing within the Assets table under the Inventory tab of the Product Builder (Inventory > Products).
This opens the edit modal for the asset pool, where you can change the name, category, and maintenance time for the asset pool.
You can increase the quantity of the asset pool, but because the quantity is directly linked to the assets listed in your Asset lists, you cannot decrease the quantity of assets from here. Instead, you would need to disable or archive individual assets from the Asset Builder.
You cannot change the capacity of an existing asset pool.
Changing the quantity of the asset group from a product affects the availability of all products using this asset. |
You can also edit assets from the Assets Builder. Learn more about editing assets with the following article: |
Archiving assets from the Product Builder
As illustrated above, you can archive an asset pool linked to a product by clicking the Archive option at the bottom left of the edit asset menu.
Archiving an asset pool disconnects its assigned bookings and products. We strongly recommend you first update them to use different asset pools. |
You can also archive asset pools from the Assets list. Learn more here: |
Removing assets from your product
You can remove an asset pool linked to a product by clicking the remove (X) option to the right of the asset listing.
