Adding a Staff-only note to a Customer profile
Back to topDo you want to add a note field to a Customer profile that only Staff can fill out? Keeping notes in Customer profiles regarding their preferences, allergies, or any other relevant information can be helpful.
You can follow these steps to set this up:
1. Navigate to the Booking Form area (Manage > Layout > Booking Form).
2. Choose + Add new field to open the Create Form Field window, e.g. Single Line Text or Paragraph Text type.
3. Fill out the General tab fields, including Type, Label, and ID.
4. Select the Options tab.
5. Check Show on form from the Staff options list. Uncheck any other Customer or Staff options.
6. Check the Attach this field to the customer profile option. This option is available with all field types.
7. Select Add (or Update).
You can then access and edit the field from the list of Booking Details.
Staff can now view and access the field within all Customer profiles from the Customers Directory (Customers > Directory > Customer Profile). The field is not displayed on any Customer-facing forms or invoices.
