Importing Customer records
Back to topWould you like to import Customer records to create Customer Profiles in the Customers Directory? If so, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the Customers Directory (Customers > Directory).
2. Click the Import button to arrive at the Customer Import page.
3. Click the Download Template button to download a CSV file containing existing booking form field columns, which you can use as a template for your Customer record(s) import.
Once you download the template, you can open it and add your Customer details.
4. When you complete the template, click the Choose File button, select the CSV file from your device, and then click Submit.
5. Map the data columns to the matching fields in your system after uploading the spreadsheet. Map only the fields you wish to import. If a column is not required, simply leave its dropdown menu unselected.
6. Once you select all the fields, click Import. You are asked to confirm the action.
7. To continue, click the red Import Now! button.
8. You receive a success message if everything goes according to plan. Click the green OK button to continue.
9. After the import, you are automatically taken back to the Customers Directory (Customers > Directory), where you see the Customer record(s) you just added.
Should you use the Booking Importer, note that it automatically creates Customer profiles during import. Learn more here: |
