About SecurePay
Back to topSecurePay, a business of Australia Post, is Australia's most reliable payment and Ecommerce service provider.
To get started with this integration, you need a SecurePay account. If you don't have one, you can sign up at the following website: https://www.securepay.com.au/.
Setting up SecurePay in Checkfront
Back to topOnce you have a SecurePay account configured, you can proceed with the setup in Checkfront.
To enable SecurePay, navigate to Manage > Ecommerce Setup, making sure the Payment tab is selected.
Here you see a list of available payment modules. Locate the SecurePay tile from the list.
You find it by clicking on the links in the left side menu labelled Available to [your country] or All. You can also search for the SecurePay tile directly in the provided search box.
Hover over the tile, which turns grey, and click.
This opens the SecurePay activation window, as pictured above. Enter your Merchant ID and Password from here in the fields provided, then click the blue Activate button.
The integration is complete, and you can proceed with your payment processing.
Before you do, though, you must complete a full test of the booking process to ensure everything is working as expected before taking any live payments.
Sandbox Mode
Back to topTo begin testing the system, check the Enable Sandbox Mode box from the setup window we just worked with.
This allows you to create test transactions through your booking system and accept fake payments to see how it works.
Be sure to uncheck this box when ready to accept live payments!
