Paying by gift certificate
Back to topUsing gift certificates to pay for a booking is very easy. The Customer selects the item/product for booking as usual and fills out their booking details.
The payment screen defaults to Credit Card payment. To apply a gift certificate, the Customer needs to select the Gift Certificate option.
Clicking Pay by Gift Certificate opens a pop-up window where Customers can enter their Gift Certificate Number/Code. The Customer can find this number beneath the barcode on their gift certificate PDF.
The Customer enters the Gift Certificate Number, including the dashes, into the GCN Code field. Once the system recognizes the code, the Customer can view the gift certificate below the GCN Code field.
Clicking the Apply button deducts the invoice total from the gift certificate balance.
The Customer might have a balance remaining, which they can use later. If the gift certificate balance does not cover the transaction, the Customer can enter another gift certificate number or pay via credit card.
The minimum gift certificate amount that you can apply for payment is 1.00. |
Booking payments made with a gift certificate can only be refunded to a gift certificate or the POS payment type. |
