Locate: Manage > Integrations > CRMs > Nutshell
Prerequisites:
- Admin permissions to manage Integrations.
- A Nutshell account created and accessible!
- The Nutshell integration is available to both those using items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront, and those using products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront.

In this article, we look at how to set up the Nutshell integration in Checkfront.

Activating the integration in Checkfront
Back to topFrom your main menu, visit the Integrations area (Manage > Integrations) and locate the Nutshell tile from the CRMs category. Hover your mouse over the tile and click to open the Add-on Setup window.
Enter your Username, which is the email address you used to create your Nutshell account. Then, paste the API key from Nutshell into the API Key field.
If you want to add a note to contacts on new bookings and/or create leads for new bookings, then check those options here.
When you're ready, click the blue Activate button.
Required booking fields
Back to topBookings need to have at least the following information/fields in order for a lead to be created in Nutshell.
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Country
