Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new or both?
- The Slack Notifications integration is available to both those using items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront, and those using products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront.
New to Checkfront - Products ✨
With our newest version of Checkfront, we have added Products (Inventory > Products) as the successor to items (Inventory > Items).

Testing the integrationBack to top
If you've completed the previous steps, you are now ready to receive booking notifications through your Slack channel.
The next step is to test it! Create a test booking in your system, or wait for a new live booking.
Once a booking has been completed, you see a notification in the Slack channel you have linked to Checkfront.
Clicking on the blue booking ID link within the Slack notification launches the booking in Checkfront in a new browser window.
Each booking notification in Slack is highlighted in blue. This does not relate to the colours of your booking statuses in Checkfront. Booking status colours do not carry over to Slack.
