Bulk updating bookings
Back to topNext to each category and listing is a checkbox. Using these, you can select one or more listings to bulk update.
If you select the checkbox next to the category, all listings under that category are automatically selected.
Alternatively, you can independently select one or more listings by checking the boxes beside the booking code.
Bookings may contain more than one item or product, in which case a separate listing appears for each item or product under the applicable items/products or times. If you select one of the listings, any other related listings are automatically selected. This is also a quick way to identify bookings with multiple items or products! |
After selecting one or more listings, a menu appears at the top of the page with the number of bookings selected and the option to bulk update. Click Bulk Update to open the Bulk Update modal.
From the Bulk Update modal, you have the following options...
Confirming the number of bookings selected
Back to top
Note the number of bookings to update! Be sure this matches the number of bookings you intend to select so that you don't update any in error, especially if you choose to Deliver Notifications. |
Updating booking statuses
Back to topThe option to update the status of the selected booking(s). Simply select the new Status from the drop-down list.

Delivering notifications
Back to topIf you update the status of the bookings, then you also have the option to Deliver Notifications. This sends any associated booking notifications when the bulk update is applied.
To learn more about booking status notifications, please read the following: |
Applying POS payments
Back to topIf you bulk update bookings to a fully PAID status and have the setting Suggest applying a POS transaction when manually marking a Booking as Paid (Manage > Ecommerce Setup > Settings) enabled, then the option to Apply POS Payments displays. Select this option to automatically generate a transaction with a POS payment once you click apply.
Adding booking notes
Back to topYou can add a booking note, for example, a reason for your bulk update.
Updating the check in status
Back to topYou can change the check in status of the selected booking(s).
The note field within the Booking Daily List is updated to include a log of this activity as soon as the change is applied.
Be careful when selecting multiple bookings! If the selected booking(s) are a mix of those checked in and out, you may inadvertently check in or out the bookings again. |
In any of these cases, you must Apply your changes before leaving the Bulk Update modal.
