Custom booking status overview
Back to topCheckfront allows you to create your statuses and customize system statuses further to adapt the system to your business requirements. Some of you may never use custom statuses, whereas others may create multiple ones.
To arrive at the status page, visit the Statuses tab (Manage > Layout > Statuses).
Looking at the example above, you see a custom, unlocked status labelled Reschedule. This is ideal for a Customer who wishes to change their booking but doesn't want to cancel fully and has yet to decide on a new date.
Since the status Lock is unchecked, selecting this status returns the booked items or products to inventory, so they may be enjoyed by somebody else while leaving the booking in a "pending" state.
You can search for the status in your Booking Index to quickly see which bookings still need scheduling and which refunds are outstanding.
