- The Booking Status feature is available to both those using items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront, and those using products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront.

Creating a new status
Back to topCreating a new status is helpful if your business has steps you want to communicate to your Staff or Customers.
To arrive at the status page, visit the Statuses tab (Manage > Layout > Statuses).
To create a new status, click the +Add button below the list.
Specify a Name visible on the invoices and a unique Status ID (maximum five characters).
When ready, click the blue Create button to add your custom status to the list.

Back to topClick the colour picker button beside the status label to customize your new or existing status.
In the colour picker, choose a status colour and click OK to apply your selection.
Make sure to select Save when you're done!
