Disable customer facing reserve page
Choosing this option will allow you to disable the customer-facing reserve page. This means that the hosted booking page and website embedded booking portal will not be available. Rather, you will only be able to make bookings through the backend or via the API if you are using it.
Also, you can choose to Restrict Staff/Partner Bookings by Category. If checked, you can then select the categories that are available for booking when configuring staff accounts.
Enforce HTTPS on reserve page
To increase security and provide your customers with a higher level of confidence, you can enforce HTTPS on your reservation page. If you are embedding the booking portal you will be required to place it on a page that is also secured. You will need a valid HTTPS certificate on your website for this to work. This option will be turned on (checked) automatically for new trial accounts.
Checkfront Tip: What does HTTPS mean?
Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The 'S' at the end of HTTPS stands for 'Secure'. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.
