Selecting Customer languages from the booking page and Customer accounts

Learn how Customers can choose which language displays on the booking page or specify a default Customer Account language.

  • Manage > Languages

What more do I need to use this feature?

  • You must activate at least one additional language translation via Translate Content (Manage > Languages > Translate Content) for this feature to display.
  • Admin permissions to access and manage Languages (Manage > Languages).

Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new or both?

  • This feature is available in both our classic version using items (Inventory > Items) and our newest version using products (Inventory > Products).  → Learn more about products

 

Selecting a booking page language

Language Customer Selection

Customers can choose their preferred language for booking using the Language drop-down menu at the top of the booking page.

You must activate at least one additional language translation via Translate Content (Manage > Languages > Translate Content) for this feature to display.

Once the Customer has chosen a language, the information on the screen is translated from one language to another.

 

Note

Customers can only select one language for display at a time.

Language Customer Menu

Customers can also select a default language for their Customer Account (Manage > User Accounts > Customer Accounts) by logging in through the booking page and visiting the Account tab.

They can select their preferred language from the Language dropdown menu.

Now, whenever Customers log in, the booking page is automatically displayed in the language of their choice.
