SecurityBack to top
Checkfront is a cloud-based application. That means there is no software to install and maintain. We manage upgrades and backups and employ the highest security practices to keep your data safe and secure.
As of June 29, 2017, Checkfront requires browsers that support TLS 1.2, including Firefox, Chrome, Safari 7+, and Microsoft Edge. Our Customer-facing booking interface mirrors these requirements.
ConnectionBack to top
Since Checkfront is accessed via your browser, it’s essential to have access to a consistent high-speed Internet connection to make the best use of the software. If your Internet connection is unreliable and access to your booking software is critical throughout the day, then an online booking system may not be the best option for your business.
Frequently Asked QuestionsBack to top
What happens if my Internet connection goes down?
Even the best Internet providers do, on occasion, have problems. If you have cellular access and a smartphone/tablet, then you can still access Checkfront. You may also wish to enable offline storage in your mail client so you can still gain access to booking invoices when offline.
Is there any way to download Checkfront onto my own server?
No. Checkfront is Software-as-a-service (Saas) and does not license the software outside of its network.
