About Reserve with Google
Back to topReserve with Google, in tandem with your Google My Business account, allows Guests to use Google services such as Search, Maps, or Assistant to make bookings with your business.
Reserve with Google is best suited for Tour and Activity businesses offering single day experiences. Reserve with Google does NOT support nightly items such as Accommodation Rentals at this time.

Compatibility Requirements
Back to topReserve with Google requires that integrated businesses and their offerings meet certain conditions in order to list with their service.
Hopefully, in the near future, Reserve with Google will expand their service offerings, but in the meantime, please review these Compatibility Requirements to determine if your business and Checkfront configuration are compatible with Reserve with Google.

Free items (items with a 0.00 price value) are now supported by our Reserve with Google integration! Note, that Stripe still requires a minimum payment of 1.00 in order to process payments for offerings that are not free and payments must be made in full at the time of booking. |

You must use Stripe as your payment processor. |
Reserve with Google uses Stripe as the payment processor for their service. Configure Stripe as your Payment Provider (Manage > ECommerce > Payment). Until Stripe is enabled as your Primary Payment Provider, Reserve with Google compatible items will not be sent to the service for listing. Learn more. |

Your Google Maps Address in Checkfront must match the address associated with your Google My Business directory listing. |

The Google Maps Address specified must match the address on file with your Google My Business account (business directory listing). Please configure your Google My Business account prior to starting your Reserve with Google integration with Checkfront. |

Item Name must be in English (and cannot contain Emojis). |
Reserve with Google Name is required. Reserve with Google Name (Manage > Integrations > Reserve with Google) defaults to the Item Name you have configured within Checkfront (Inventory > Items > Edit Item). The original Item Name will not be overwritten. This is a Reserve with Google requirement. |

Item Parameters must have a Minimum per Booking of no greater than 1. In other words, bookings must be open to one or more people. |
Item Parameters must be configured with a Minimum per Booking of 1, no greater. (Inventory > Items > Edit Item > Attributes > Parameters > Min/Max per Booking) There are no restrictions on the Maximum per Booking. Maximum values can be specified for one or more parameters, if needed. This is a Reserve with Google requirement.

Item Allocations must be:

Items allocated Per Night (e.g. accommodation rentals) are NOT supported by Reserve with Google, at this time. |

Items with per Day Allocations must have flexible start times (e.g. no start times are specified in the description text box). |
Hours displayed in your Reserve with Google listing will correspond to your Google My Business account, not Checkfront business hours (Manage > Setup > Calendar). Make sure your Checkfront and Reserve with Google hours match to avoid confusion and disappointment! |

Items with Per Time Allocations must have a Fixed Start Time and Fixed Length. |
Ensure that Fixed Time and Fixed Length are specified for Items with a Per Time Allocations (Inventory > Item Builder > Attributes > Allocation > Per Time). This applies to the hourly and sub-hourly times: 10 Mins, 15 Mins, 20 Mins and 30 Mins. |

Item Names or Summary descriptions must specify clearly...

Make sure your Item Names and Summary descriptions combined make it clear what is being booked. If the activity is happening at a different location, than the Google Maps Address (Manage > Integrations > Reserve with Google) specified, ensure that the activity address is included in the Reserve with Google Description (Manage > Integrations > Reserve with Google). This is a Reserve with Google requirement. |

Items must be visible to customers. |
Ensure that your Item is visible to Everyone (Inventory > Items > Attributes > Item Visibility). This is a Reserve with Google requirement. |

Payments through Stripe must be equal to or greater than 1.00 in order to be processed through Stripe. |
Ensure that all parameters are priced with a value of at least 1.00 (Inventory > Items > Pricing) requirement. Stripe will not accept payments of 0.25, .50, .75 etc. Reserve with Google now supports free items, those with a price value of 0.00. |
