Setup in Checkfront
- To activate the add-on go to Manage > Add-ons > Reserve with Google (it’s under the Channel Management category)
- Upon activation, you will arrive at the ‘Reserve with Google’ setup page, where you can review and enable compatible items
- There is also an incompatible items tab that lists the items which do not meet eligibility from Google’s guidelines.

- Once items are enabled for Reserve with Google, they will be synced with Google within 24 hours.
As this integration is not yet launched on Google’s side, you should not expect to be able to see your inventory appear on Google just yet.
We can’t say for certain when your items will start showing up on Google, as this is dependent on when Google's timeline but we’re getting close to the official launch and will notify you when it happens.
Reviewing and editing compatible items
Reserve with Google Name
Google only allows up to 40 characters, anything over that will be cut short. Overriding the name is recommended if you currently exceed this limit.
Reserve with Google Description
This is required for Reserve with Google listings. If this is missing you will be prompted to supply a description. Optionally, you can override your current description specifically for Reserve with Google.
Disabling items on Reserve with Google
If for any reason you wish to remove an item from Reserve with Google, simply return to Manage > Add-ons > Reserve with Google and click either the ‘Readiness Report’ link or the Update button to choose the item you would like to disable.
Alternatively, you can modify the settings on an item level by browsing to the Attributes tab for the item you’d like to modify
This location also provides one further option to customize the Admission Policy to Strict or Flexible (Strict being the default)
