Editing asset pools
Back to topTo access the edit asset pool modal, click on the Edit action next to the asset pool you want to edit.
The edit asset pool modal allows you to edit the settings for a pool of assets.

This modal is opened from your Assets list as described here: |
Renaming an asset pool
Back to topTo edit the name of your asset pool, replace the existing name with a new name, for example, Mountain Bike or Single Kayaks.
Changing the asset category of an asset pool
Back to topChange the asset category associated with the asset pool by selecting a new asset category from the list provided.
Asset categories (e.g. Bikes, Kayaks or Yoga Equipment), allow you to generally classify your asset pools (e.g. Mountain Bikes, Shuttle Buses, Single Kayaks, Kayak Paddles - 200cm, or Life Jackets - Small), which helps to organize your assets and minimize the complexity of applying assets to products.
Adding a new asset category while editing an asset pool
Back to topWhen editing an asset pool, open the Asset Category drop-down menu. Type directly in the drop-down menu field, you are then presented with the new option to Click Here or hit Enter to Create "{your asset category}."
Changing the total quantity of your assets
Back to topEdit the number of assets included in this asset pool by toggling up (+) the Quantity.
Because quantity is directly linked to the assets listed in your Asset lists, you cannot decrease the quantity of assets here. Please go to the Assets list for this asset pool and archive the applicable asset(s).

The maximum quantity for an asset pool is 10,000. |
Changing the total capacity of your assets
Back to topThis is the capacity of an asset in the asset pool, representing the total capacity of the assets, considering how many seats or spaces the asset can support.

Warning You cannot change the capacity of an existing asset pool. |
Viewing your asset pool total
Back to topThis is the total asset availability based on quantity of assets multiplied by the capacity of each asset within the asset pool, for example...
Quantity x | Capacity = | Total | |
Mountain Bikes |
10 |
1 |

Single Kayaks |

Shuttle Buses |
4 |

Kayak Paddles - 200cm |

This number is calculated based on Quantity and Capacity fields, so the Total is read-only.
Enabling maintenance time

- Select the setting Enable Maintenance Time. This enables time controls.
- Specify the number of Hours and/or Minutes that you need.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Archiving your asset
