How will I know if a Customer has made a claim against their policy?
Dashboard Notifications! When you activate the Purchase Protection, one of the first actions you should take is to set up notifications from within your Protecht dashboard. This will be crucial for you to have awareness around the state of the policies applied to your bookings.
What happens to a booking, if a Customer makes a claim against it?
Your booking log will have a line item added to it, indicating a claim has been made, and that’s all that will change!
In the instance that you want to offer that space up to another Customer, we recommend making this change in your inventory log, as you will be unable to remove a protected item from a booking.
