Locate:
- Customer Booking Page: Customers > Customer Booking Page or simply add '/reserve to your Account URL.
- Booking Widget: Code added to your Website (Manage > Integrations > Booking Widget).
- Booking Index: Reports > Booking Index
Prerequisites:
- Admin permissions or restricted permissions to manage Inventory and access Reports & Booking Data.
- Tags configured to work with your Items. Learn more here: Inventory Tags: Introduction.
- Your account must have access to items (Inventory > Items), which is a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront.
- This feature is not yet supported with products (Inventory > Products), which is a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront.

Overview
Back to topThis article demonstrates how Tags display and function to both the Customer and Staff. This is the final article in a series of articles on the Tags feature. Be sure to start the series with Inventory Tags: Introduction. You can also jump to any of the other articles in the series via the right-hand menu.
Detail Booking Page
Back to topIs your Booking Page (Customers > Customer Booking Page or simply add '/reserve to your Account URL) configured with the Detail Page Layout (Manage > Layout > Booking Page)? Once Tags are configured to display to Everyone, they will appear on your Customer Booking page as a filter option.
Customers can then select one or more Tags to filter listings. Depending on how you have configured Tags, this could be across categories or into sub-categories.
Staff or Report only Tags do not display within the Customer Booking Page.

Keep in mind that, Items can have one or more Tags, so Users can then filter by one or more Tags within the Customer Booking Page and Booking Widget. Results will include listings that are configured with ALL selected Tags. |

Tags only display if viewing a Category that contains Items with Tags. Makes sense right? Have your page default to all Categories selected, so that all Tags also display!

Hero Booking Page
Back to topTags are also supported within the Hero Page Layout (Manage > Layout > Booking Page). As with the Detail Page Layout, Customers can filter your listings by one or more Tags, so that only the offerings with matching Tags display. Tags not displaying? Make sure your Tags are configured to be visible to everyone!
Staff or Report only Tags do not display within the Customer Booking Page.

Back to topStaff can filter the Booking Index by Tags. Simply choose one or more Tags to filter bookings for those that match your selections.
