Admin permissions to manage inventory or restricted permissions to View products and assets with Manage products and assets and View events and rules with Manage events and rules.
Which Checkfront version supports this feature - classic, new or both?
- Your account must have access to products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our new version of Checkfront. This feature is not available for use with items (Inventory > Items) in our classic version. → Learn more about products.

About Product Closures
Back to topWith Product Closures, you can close off availability to your product for select dates. Availability can be removed for all or select days within the specified period.
Creating product closures
Back to topTo add a new product closure, click on the Create Closure button in the top right-hand corner of your Product Closures page. We go into more detail with the next article: Adding product closures.
Working with your product closure list
Back to topYou can manage your existing product closures from the list on the Product Closures page.
The following information and actions are displayed for each product closure.

This is the unique identifier of the product closure. |

Edit Product Closure |
This is the edit product closure option. |
Click on the pencil icon next to the product closure ID to open the product closure modal in edit mode. |
Product Applied to |
List of products to which the product closure is applied. |
Do you have a long list of associated products? Hover over the column header to select and drag the column so it is wide enough to view the entire list. |
Name |
This is the name of the product closure. |

Start Date |
This is the start date of the product closure. |
|
End Date |
This is the end date of the product closure. |
|
Applicable Booking Days |
The days the product closure is applicable, e.g. Everyday, Weekdays, Weekends, or Custom. |
|
Status |
This is the status of the product closure. |
