- The Billing feature is available to both accounts using items (Inventory > Items), a key feature of our classic version of Checkfront, and accounts using products (Inventory > Products), a key feature of our newest version of Checkfront.

Changing your plan

From the Billing page (Account menu > Billing), click the Change Plan or Upgrade Plan link (where applicable) to view your options for changing plans. The experience of changing your plan varies depending on which plan you are on and which changes you want to make. Learn more about our plans here.

Upgrading from Starter to Growth (Subscription)

Follow these steps to upgrade your plan automatically:
- Go to the Billing page (Account menu > Billing)
- Click Change Plan under the name of your current plan.
- Note that the Growth plan is highlighted, and the subscription option is selected by default.
- Decide whether to commit to a monthly or annual plan.
- Click Upgrade Plan under the Growth plan.
- Follow the guided steps in-app to complete the upgrade process.
Once you have successfully upgraded plans, your next step is to set up your payment provider (If you haven't already done so). Click Set up payment provider to be taken to your Ecommerce settings.

Switching from Growth (Annual Per Booking)
Would you like to apply to switch from the Growth (Annual Per Booking) plan to any other Growth or Starter plan? Learn more about our plans here.
Follow these steps to apply:
- Go to the Billing page (Account menu > Billing)
- Click Change Plan or Upgrade Plan under the name of your current plan.
- Choose the plan you would like to switch to, e.g. Select Plan or Downgrade Plan.
- Follow the prompts displayed. The experience varies depending on your annual contract end date and whether or not you have previously applied to switch your plan.
