Canceled bookings still showing up on reports

I have canceled bookings still showing in month end reports under booking index.  Is there a way to make them disappear from the booking index reports without having to click all the statuses (we have a lot of statuses due to different grants)? I also don't want to void them because I want a record that the customer canceled on us for when they book in the future.  Any way around this?
