Hello Dedric Hourde and Steve Venton

The colours are back! I hope you've both had a chance to view the recent changes to the Inventory Calendar,  we've posted in News and Update to introduce the most recent updates. See you there!

Yes please this would be very helpful. It;s hard to see which days have availability and which don't.

Also the use of pastel colours makes it difficult for people with visual impairment to use. It might not be trendy, but bold colours and black text are easier for many people to see.

anyone at CheckFront would like to comment, please? I think most would love to see this feature becoming a reality. Thanks

Hey Dedric, thanks for providing this feedback.

Our product managers use the community as part of their research when working on projects. If we are not actively participating in the product feedback conversation, it's either not any 3-6 month roadmaps or there is low customer engagement on the feedback provided.

It would be great to see if more users find that this type of change would provide the same level of value. At the time of this response, there's only one other user voting it up. Going forward, note that the number of customers that contribute to a post will impact how we engage. While we depend on all of your feedback, the level of engagement across our customers contributes to how we understand the impact your feedback may have.

Hopefully, this helps in your understanding of why your feedback is important (it may get traction with other users) and how we interact with your feedback (used as part of our research).

this is both a great explanation, and very disappointing statement.

Combined with what we've been experiencing over the past years, this reply just crushed the last of my legitimate hopes to see any "customer initiated" feature request to ever become reality...

On a side note, I find this forum to be strangely quiet: not many new post per day, week or month.

Also, not many comments to the posts in general.

I'm surprised by this (other SaaS' forums I use are typically way more active), and I wonder what is the reason ? I'd love to see more activity & interaction, especially if this is where the dev team gauge what to fix/develop next… Could you do a "promotion" to make sure all CheckFront users are clearly aware of the matter ?

One last thing: (and I've posted a separate thread too):

    https://support.checkfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/1260802715909-Forum-s-activity-New-vs-Recent-posts

The forum's sort mode is "sort by newest post", for instance, this thread being an "old" one, even if we are currently creating activity on it, doesn't show up on top of the list.

It requires to manually sort by "recent activity", but this defaults back to "newest posts" every time you navigate through the forum
