iCal feed on Google Calendar
Hi,
Could it be possible that your tech team fixes iCal so Checkfront's iCal feed adds more information on Google Calendar? Right now it does not show what we write in note. We often write important information in note. So if it shows on Google Calendar too, that is tremendously useful for us to use iCal. In fact right now because it does not have that function we cannot use iCal instead we need to manually write all information of each booking on Google Calendar to share with the team.

Thanks for sharing this feedback.
While we don't have immediate plans to add iCal feed options I wanted to share that you may be able to sync bookings to Google Calendar via Zapier which would allow for notes to be included. I can't guarantee that it'll work exactly as you're hoping and you could run into complications especially around booking edits but it might just be worth exploring.

Thank you for your support again I didn't know Zapier but they look great. I already made account and tried it (from Checkfront account to Google Spreadsheet). I tested one booking and it worked very well, except for one thing. Nothing showed on note part, even though I wrote some test memo. This might be out of your service territory but if you could advice how I have not done right or how I could fix this, that will be very helpful.

It turns out that since the default 'note' field doesn't have a persistent value, it won't sync to Zapier as expected.
You could, however, create a custom booking form field for notes and that would sync. The main difference would be that you'd have to click into the 'edit' Booking Details page every time you have a note to add.

Just adding this to this feed since it concerns ical and google calendar integrations:
The consistence of the ical import working correctly needs to be improved.
I am very frustrated to hear that the import of ical will just randomly stop working with no notifications. We run our business based on the import of data onto our google calendar daily and to have to go back through and check daily that everything is imported is extremely time consuming. I was told to just renew the link every once and awhile?!?!?! This option needs to either work OR give a warning when it stops working, not just me running a business hoping it works.

When a Checkfront iCal feed is loaded into Google Calendar, the "location" field (which links to Google Maps) currently contains the Inventory Item title instead of an address. This prevents me from clicking on a calendar booking entry and loading a delivery map.
It would be great if the Checkfront fields could be connected to the correct iCal fields so that it would integrate properly.

I am using the zapier integration to sync bookings to a google calendar, but the issue is that bookings are not registered on the day that the booking starts, but on the day they are made. This is pretty useless! Have you any suggestions for improving this set-up as clearly an integration between bookings and a calendar is going to be a requirement for most businesses!
