Notifications when waivers are filled out
Hello,
We would like to suggest that when a group has all of their waivers in that an email can be sent to them and our office. Other competitors offer this and it would save us a lot of time. It is a reason we are considering switching to another company which we do not want to do to :)
Thanks,
Kelly

Hey Kelly, thanks for your feedback!
While we don't have any immediate plans to implement this functionality for our Waivers integration, I can see how this would be beneficial to your operations and potentially other users of Checkfront.
I'll be sure to suggest that our Product team keep your input top of mind, and if anyone else is keen to see a feature like this please feel free to share your specific use case below ⬇️ -
I'd agree this is pretty standard functionality for form tools and it would be beneficial if this system did it too. At present we are not routinely providing our customers with copies of the forms but it would be great if there was an email variable that would allow us to easily include a link to their forms in notifications.

I also have asked about Waivers in the past and that if done in "kiosk" mode thru a browser there is no way for the customer to reference the reservation within the waiver; I am not about to have them type in a long code into a custom field. There also is a need to know if you have lets say 5 people in a reservation that you have 5 waivers filled out at a glance. I was told to use, I believe the addon "Guest Form", which appeared to do what I needed for qty of waivers, but it also was more involved and had an extra step or 2 for the customer so I scrapped it.
I hope Checkfront understands as a business a waiver is very important in any lawsuit and it would be great if you treated these enhancements with more importance than some other one off functionality someone might have requested.

This seems a particularly odd feature to not have, when building a waiver/document hub, as it's so valuable to know when your customers are interacting.
We have 4 businesses using CF, all of which have some form of document/waiver necessity, and we spend genuine multiple hours a week doing manual document accruals, because we're unable to add ourselves/an internal mailbox as a bcc to the notification.
Use case #1:
We have a document that is provided to a customer following their booking, however as it only applies to a single, infrequently sold product, we're not receiving them every day or week, and so it would be useful to have a notification for this.
Use case #2:
We have a business that runs events with an age-restricted product add-on. Again, these are infrequently booked, and so the above might apply, however if we were able to apply a conditional rule instead this would be even better. i.e. Bob Smith ticks box A on their waiver, does not trigger a notification, his son who needs the youth item, ticks box B, triggers a notification.Use case #3:
We take bookings for the products/events our businesses offer many months in advance. In many cases, it's not appropriate for the document to be completed at the time of booking as many relevant details will likely change in between - but also in the case of safety waivers, where you want the 'conditions' of the waiver to be clear in the customers mind when they turn up to the actual event. We'd prefer to take the documents out of the booking flow and have them sent by reminder in the lead up to the event instead, and then be notified once they've been completed.
I'd hope this is in the pipeline for 2023.
