    Hi,

    Colton here, with Checkfront Support.

This depends on the payment provider your account uses. Some do allow Authorize Only transactions.

However, there are a few caveats:

    1. The authorization typically doesn't last very long. For example, Authorize.Net does allow Authorize Only, but the payments must be captured within 30 days. This means that if someone books two months in advance, you will not be able to charge them as they check-in.

    2. Transactions will only be authorized in Checkfront, they won't be capturable. This means that you would have to sign in to your payment provider's dashboard in order to capture the payment.

I hope that helps! If you have any follow-ups or need any clarification, I would recommend reaching out through support@checkfront.com.

    Have a good day!
