How To: Ask a Question
PinnedBe sure to include relevant details in your question so that other Community members can help out. You're more likely to receive a better response if you provide the right details in your question.
How to write a good question:
-
Provide details about your products and business type. Are you a Tour, Rental, or Accommodation Operator? Are you a combination of a few? Knowing this will help other Community members, including moderators and the Checkfront Support Team, give you an answer that fits for your business. Context is really helpful for all to understand what you are attempting to accomplish.
-
Screenshots are very helpful! If you're asking about any errors, a quick screenshot can help other Community members see what you are needing help with. Be sure to provide any other relevant information such as your inventory, packages, availability, or pricing settings.
-
What have you already attempted? When trying to answer a question, it can be helpful to know what you’ve tried already. This way, other Community members can suggest solutions that are more helpful.
Please be mindful of the following:
-
Is your question only one sentence? You might want to provide a little more detail.
-
This Community is public. Anything you post is visible to anyone on the internet. DO NOT post sensitive or private information or screenshots that have this type of information in it.
-
Don't post any email addresses or other contact information. See point #1. Also, you don't want spambots to crawl your email address. If you post one our team will edit your post to remove it as soon as we can.
-
Do your best to post in the correct topic. See our How to: Use the Checkfront Community post under Welcome. If a post is added to the wrong topic, it will be moved to the correct topic by one of our Community moderators.
-
Use the Community search to see if your question has been answered already. If your question has already been answered, one of our Community Moderators may move or merge your post to the correct thread.
