When are notifications sent and not sent?
Hello, I have a question on notifications. To configure a notification, you specify the booking status and the scheduled time to go out (e.g. 2 weeks prior to booking start date). Does the notification logic ALWAYS send the scheduled notification or does it ONLY send the scheduled notification if the status does NOT change again. For example:
Booking created and deposit taken -> status changed to DEPOSIT
DEPOSIT status change notification is set to remind customer to pay remainder 2 weeks prior to booking start date.
Customer goes in and pays the remainder in the meantime (say 4 weeks prior). Invoice status set to PAID
Does the notification still get sent even though the invoice status is now PAID?

Hi Kristi,
That is an excellent question! At this time, notifications will only send if the booking is in the status the notification is configured to. Using your example, if there is a scheduled notification for the DEPOSIT status, and the customer's booking is moved into PAID before the notification is supposed to send, the notification would not send to the customer.
If there is a notification that should send to the customer in multiple statuses, we recommend duplicating that notification for each status.
I hope this helps!
