The current Google Analytics integration Checkfront offers is for "Universal Analytics". Universal analytics will no longer be receiving updates going forward and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the new "standard". 

 

Could we get an "Add-On" for GA4 support?

  Hi all

  Even we found the GA4 was supported but it lacked some details or enhancement to support GA4. I have raised another enhancement request to update Checkfront tag / event info which can be brought forward to allow more info in different events, which are used to track conversions.

  e.g. if you can track category ID (or category name), title of item or sku etc in event tracking.

  As we know, GA4 is event based driven for conversion tracking.

  The switch to GA4 was announced in October 2020, and the sunset date for UA is now less than 12 months away. I'm disappointed that we don't have an integration/ fix for this yet.

  is ga4 passing transaction data to Google analytics?  I have added my ga4 in the integration however its not displaying amount of transactions in GA. it is still showing transaction data for universal analytics but those will be sunseted within months
