Ability to change order of items on invoice (via edit screen)

    oh my goodness this is also one of my biggest frustrations with the invoicing, as there is no apparent order to how the items are displayed. Even when I've attempted to add each item that hasn't worked. So yes it would be amazing to have the ability to change the order of items, and even better if we could add headings...so that the invoice made sense, and isn't a complete random list in no order. Because of this, I often create my bookings in an excel spreadsheet, then book the items in checklist - which is double handling, but for hire bookings with over 30 items, it's the only way I've been able to create an invoice that myself and clients can read through, in an order that makes sense!

    In Manage / Layout / Invoice, there is an option called "Item Sorting Order". Have a look, as it may (partially) help.

    I've already tried this, and it doesn't work. It's so frustrating that currently my only solution to present invoices to clients that make sense for lots of items, is to create my own excel invoices, and then make a separate booking so that I have the hire items reserved in Checkfront. It's not ideal and it's time consuming.

    Yes I would vote for this as well,  often we we edit a booking to add extra optional items they then appear at the top of the invoice instead of the main item which was booked first.
