Linking to an item on a specific date

We are going to expand our system to allow users to book a conference attendance that we are offering. I have set up an item with x number of inventory, and it will only be bookable on a specific date. Is there a way to provide a link to that category/item date so users don't have to know to scroll forward several months to find the available date?
