Separating Assets, but Maintaining Capacity
Currently, if you choose to make all assets available to book, their capacity is pooled. This may work for kayak, bike, and similar rentals, but for tour vehicles this is flawed.
For example - I have one asset (van) with a capacity of 7 and a second van with a capacity of 10. I offer a tour that anyone can book onto. If a group of 5 books, there are 12 of 17 seats remaining. Then a group of 8 books the same tour, so both my assets remain assigned to this tour and now show 4 seats remaining.
The issue - there are 4 seats available, but they are in separate assets (vans) and those assets may be attached to the same tour, but the itineraries for each one will be different. If a group of 4 books those last 4 seats, I only have room for 2 in either asset because my first booking of 5 needs to go in the 7 asset and the group of 8 needs to go in the 10 asset. So the group of 4 is split up - which doesn't work when they'll be on separate itineraries.
There should be an option to keep the assets separate - so on the calendar it would show as "Tour A" with 2 qty available for "Itinerary 1" and 2 qty available for "Itinerary 2" (or something similar to denote they are separate).
