Select the restore point from the dropdown or list with the timestamp you want.
Confirm your choice in the dialog. Usually, there’s a Restore or Continue button, plus a Cancel option.
- When a backup is selected, your inventory returns to its state before that time. Select your backup from the dropdown list of timestamps.
After confirming, you should see a success message. Your inventory will revert to the state it was in at that timestamp.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
| Problem | What Likely Happened | How to Fix / Avoid |
| No restore points visible | You may not have done any imports yet, or the system purged data due to the retention policy. | Ensure you’ve performed at least one inventory import; check if your user role has the correct permissions. |
| Restore fails or does not complete | Network issue, data conflict, or your role doesn’t allow full inventory changes. | Try again; reach out to support; ensure proper permissions. |
|
Concern about losing recent changes |
You restored to an earlier timestamp, losing changes done afterward. | Before restoring, export the current inventory or note recent updates so you can reapply them if needed. |
