Managing your gift certificate templates efficiently helps you maintain consistency, stay organized, and support Customers in multiple languages. This article guides you through copying, archiving, unarchiving, and translating your templates, enabling you to streamline your workflow and adapt gift certificates to your business needs with ease.

Where can I find this feature using the top menu?
- Inventory > Gift Certificate > Create Gift Certificate > More menu

Copying gift certificate templates
You can copy an existing gift certificate template by following these steps:
- Go to Inventory > Gift Certificates.
- Create or edit a gift certificate template.
- Open the More menu at the bottom-right of the page.
- Click the Copy option.
- The system immediately changes the template to an UNSAVED copy of the gift certificate.
- You can then edit the template to suit your needs. Don't forget to save your copied template!
Archiving (and unarchiving) gift certificate templates
You can archive an existing gift certificate template by following these steps:
- Go to Inventory > Gift Certificates.
- Find the gift certificate template you want to archive in the left menu list.
- Click the option to Edit Gift Certificate at the top of the page.
- Open the More menu at the bottom-right of the page.
- Select the Archive option.
- The system immediately changes the template to an UNSAVED copy of the gift certificate.
- You can then edit the template to suit your needs. Don't forget to save your copied template!
Once archived, the gift certificate is no longer visible as active for Staff or Customers to add to a booking.
Unarchiving gift certificate templates
To unarchive a template, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the main Item (Inventory > Items) area and filter the Inventory list to show Archived items.
- Search, filter, or scroll the page to find the archived gift certificate template, and then select the gift certificate name to open the editor.
- Select the Save button in the footer of the editor, and the gift certificate is reactivated.

Unarchiving gift certificate templates for those using classic products While gift certificate templates can be archived by following the steps above when using products, there isn't a specific area to unarchive them. Instead, if you know the archived gift certificate's unique URL, you can visit it and click the Save button at the bottom to unarchive the template. |
Translating template fields
To translate a template, follow these steps:
- Go to Inventory > Gift Certificates.
- Select the gift certificate template you want to translate from the list on the left menu.
- Click the option to Edit Gift Certificate at the top of the page.
- Open the More menu at the bottom-right of the page.
- In the menu that displays, hover your pointer over Translate and then click to select any language you have configured for use in your system from the pop-out menu.
- Next, input your translations into the highlighted, translatable fields.
- Click Save Translation to save your changes when you are done.
