Accessing the features mentioned in this article
Where can I find this feature using the top menu?
Click an active Booking ID anywhere in the system. For example, open the Booking Invoice from the Booking Index report (Reports > Booking Index > Booking ID > Booking Invoice > Transactions).
You can also enter the Booking ID in the Search field found in the main menu to bring up the Booking Invoice.

Viewing transactions and transaction details
The Transactions tab view lists all payments and refunds applied to the booking.
If the invoice has not been paid in full, the Add Payment button in the left sidebar is active, and you can click on it to create a new transaction.

A Details button is also beside each transaction entry, whether a payment or a refund.
Clicking on this brings up the Transaction Details modal window for the selected entry. Summary details such as Transaction ID, Amount, and Created By are displayed. View the following table for more details:
| Transaction Detail | Description |
| Provider |
The payment provider through which the transaction is processed. A payment provider is enabled/disabled in the Ecommerce Payment area (Manage > Ecommerce Setup > Payment). |
| Transaction ID | The automatically generated ID that the payment provider attaches to the transaction. |
| Date Created | The date and time that the transaction is created. |
| Amount |
The currency value that the transaction is for. The value is displayed in the base currency specified in the Locale area (Manage > Setup > Locale). |
| Created By | The Staff/Partner account that created the transaction. |
| Source | The location and IP address of the Staff/Partner that created the transaction. |
| Payment Type |
The type of payment the transaction is for, for example, Visa or POS - Cash. POS transaction labels are created/edited in the Ecommerce Settings area (Manage > Ecommerce Setup > Settings). |
| Query | Displays the raw transaction data from the payment provider, if supported. |

Why does an invoice show as paid if one of the transactions has been declined?
Another successful payment may have been applied to the invoice, changing the booking to PAID. You can view all transactions applied to a booking via the Transactions tab of the Booking Invoice.
