What is an availability event? An availability event determines when the product is available for booking based on specific dates. |
Overview
You can edit availability events in three ways:
- Editing an availability event
- Editing availability event rates
- Editing custom availability event rates
Editing an availability event
- To edit an availability event, start by navigating to the Availability tab of the Product Builder (Inventory > Products > edit/+new product).
- You can find the availability event you need to edit within the Availability Events table.
- Open the actions menu (...) and select Edit from the list of options presented. This action opens the Edit Availability Event modal.
- From the Edit Availability Event modal, you can edit the event name, date range, fixed start time setting, hours of operation settings, booking rules, and Guest min/max settings.
|
Changes to the date range Any changes to the date range within availability events impact when any pricing for those same availability events is applicable. The date range within the Pricing table is updated accordingly. Learn more about editing pricing for availability events with the following help articles. |
Editing availability event rates
Do you need to edit the pricing of the availability event? You can do so from the Availability tab of the Product Builder (Inventory > Products > edit/+new product).
- Click the pencil icon next to the availability event pricing within the Pricing Table. This action opens the Edit Availability Rate modal.
- In the Edit Availability Rate modal, you can change the rate type (percentage (%) or amount ($)), adjust the rate amount, or remove the availability rate.
- From the modal, you can also remove the availability event pricing by clicking the Remove button. This action does not remove or delete the associated availability event. It turns off the availability rates and removes the pricing from the Pricing Table.
