- Admin permissions to manage inventory or restricted permissions to View Products and Assets and Manage Products and Assets.
- Duration rates are available only for those using All Day, Nightly, and Flex Time, not Timeslots.

What is a duration rate? A duration rate allows you to configure pricing increases or decreases, by dollar amount or percentage, based on the booking duration, and apply them to the base rate configured for your product. |

Overview
You have two options to add an existing duration rate to your product.
- Apply a duration rate to a product from Custom Rates, OR
- Apply a duration rate to a product from another product
Apply duration rates to a product from Custom Rates
To apply a product to an existing duration rate via the Custom Rates page (Inventory > Custom Rates):
- Start by clicking the name of the duration rate to open the Duration Rate modal.
- In the Duration Rate modal, open the Apply to Products section to reveal the list of available categories and products, including the Select All products option.
- Click Select None to clear all selections. Note that at least one applicable product is required to save the duration rate.
- Click the Save button to save your changes.
Apply duration rates to a product from another product
To apply a duration rate from another product:
- Start by editing or adding a rate from the Pricing tab of the Product Builder (Inventory > Products > edit product).
- Next, you can select the category or product to which you want to apply the rate in focus.
- Click the Apply to Products section to open the list of available options, including the Select All products option.
You can select None to deselect all categories and products before adding new selections.
- You must select at least one product to save your changes.
- Click the Save button to save your changes.
