QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based accounting solution that enables users to access and maintain their business finances from anywhere with an internet connection.

This third-party integration has a monthly subscription fee. This fee is paid directly to QuickBooks. There are no additional fees for usage with Checkfront.

Once the integration is activated in your Checkfront account, bookings and transactions automatically sync with QuickBooks Online, allowing you to track reservations and reconcile invoices faster than ever before.

When a booking is created or modified in your Checkfront account, the booking details are sent to QuickBooks Online. Once received by QuickBooks Online, either a new account is created or matched to an existing account, and the changes apply to the relevant invoice.

• How is booking information synced over to QuickBooks Online? For example, is it one sales receipt at a time or a daily journal entry with the day’s total, and can it include Location and Class tracking?

  • Information syncs to Quickbooks Online using the API. 
  • Each invoice in Checkfront creates an invoice in Quickbooks Online.
  • There are multiple settings to determine when and what information sends.
  • Location and Class tracking are not sent over but can be manually added in Quickbooks Online.
