Working with asset categories
The following columns of information are available within the asset category list.

A system-generated numerical ID used to identify your asset categories in various places throughout Checkfront. |

| Name |
The name of your asset category. This is not visible to the Customer and is used for the internal organization of your assets. |

Description |
The description of your asset category and the associated assets. |
25-seat shuttle bus with wifi and USB charge ports. |
| Asset Pools/Groups |
The total number of different asset types that you have within the category. |
For example, two different types of Tour Buses (single-level and double-decker) would be two separate asset pools/groups. |
| Assets |
Represent the total number of available assets in an asset category. |
Six single-level tour buses plus four double-decker tour buses equals 10 tour buses in total. |
Sorting category list columns
Back to top
Clicking on an Asset Category column header will organize the rows for that column into alphabetical or numerical order. After clicking, a small arrow will appear in the header cell, as seen above. If the arrow is pointing up, the data in the row is displayed in ascending order. If the arrow points down, the data is in descending order. Refresh the page to reset the column back to its original state.
