How Customers apply discounts on the booking page
Do you want to know how your Customers apply a discount code on your Booking page? The following is what they see when using a discount code previously created in the Discounts area (Inventory > Discounts):
1. Customers who visit your Booking page select a product listing to open the booking modal. They click the Apply Promo or Voucher link from the Book Now tab to enter a provided discount code.
2. The link opens a Promo/Voucher field where the Customer enters the discount code. Once entered, they click Apply. If valid, a message to the right of the field confirms the discount is applied to the booking.
3. The Customer arrives at the Create Booking page after clicking Continue. On this page, they see the listed booking details and fill out the booking form. The booking details include the promo name and the total discount or savings value.
Advancing the booking after filling out the booking form lets the Customer follow your previously specified e-commerce settings from this point forward.
Customers do not see or have access to your internal list of promo codes. Customers can only use codes that they have been provided with, such as by email. |
