Sometimes you need a product to be available on specific dates, such as certain weekdays when your business is open or for special events. In Checkfront Classic Products, you can achieve this using an Availability type Availability Event. This article shows you how to open dates and explains the settings involved.

Setting up the availability of products using availability dates
How do I open products for specific dates?
To make your product available on a specific date or within a date range, create an Availability Event under the Availability tab in the Product Builder/Editor.
- Select Inventory > Products from the top menu within your account.
- Choose to either add a new product (+ New Product) or edit an existing product, then navigate to the Availability tab within the Product Builder/Editor. Make sure you have saved your product!
- Click the Create New button under Availability Events, selecting Availability from the dropdown menu.
- Fill out the Create an Availability Event form, specifying Event Name, Date Range, Days of Week, Timeslots (if applicable), Booking Rules, Guest Visibility, and Number of Guests Per Booking.
- Select the Save button to save your availability event.
- Preview your product calendar and note that the product is available during the period you specified with the availability event!
