Setup in Facebook Events Manager (Individual Account)
Back to topBefore activating Facebook Ads integration in Checkfront, you must create a tracking pixel in your Facebook Events Manager. If you have an Individual Facebook account, then follow these steps...
- From within the Facebook Events Manager and Data sources list, click the Connect a data source button to set up a pixel.
- From the Connect a new data source modal, choose the Web option to connect your website.
- Next, choose Facebook pixel from the Setup web events modal as your connection method.
- Click Continue after you have read the Connect website activity using pixel overview.
4. Next, Name your pixel. Use something unique. You have 50 characters max!
5. Choose to Manually add pixel code to your website.
6. Click Copy Code to move to the next step, as Checkfront takes care of this!
7. Click Continue to move to the next step of the process.
8. Decide if you want Auto advanced matching and then click Continue.
9. Finally, Add events using event tool setup as needed.
10. Click Go to Pixel Overview to return to the Data Sources page.

That's it! Your Facebook pixel has been created. Your pixel is now listed within the list of Data sources, and you can get the tracking ID from here.

Setup in Facebook Events Manager (Business Manager)
Back to topIf you have a Facebook Business Manager account, please follow these steps to create a tracking pixel before you activate your Facebook Ads integration in Checkfront.
- Go to Business Settings in Business Manager.
- Select your business from your list of configured businesses. You may only have one!
- Click Data sources.
- Select Pixels from the sub-menu.
- Click the +Add button to start the
- Within the modal Connect Website Activity Using Pixel, enter your Pixel Name.
- Click Continue.
- Choose to Set up the Pixel Now.
- Next, choose to Manually add pixel code to your website.
- As with the Individual account, you must walk through the remaining options until you are returned to the Data sources page with your pixel created.
- Copy your pixel ID from the pixel listed.

Facebook Business Manager and Verifying Your Domain
Back to topNeed to verify your Checkfront domain with Facebook? Start with these steps...
1. Go to Domains in the Brand safety section of Business settings in your Facebook Business Manager account.
2. Select Add to open the Add a domain modal.
3. Enter your Checkfront Domain name without any prefixes (For example, yourcompanyname.checkfront.com)
4. Click Add.
5. Next, you need to verify your domain. Choose the option to Upload an HTML file to your root directory.
6. Skip uploading and downloading the verification file. (Steps 1 & 2). We have integrated with Facebook, so you don't have to do these steps!
7. Copy the verification file name, e.g.,04u8n8ekgezyoyhiv6a8y6xeokf6w1.html
.
8. Paste the HTML Verification File Name into the Checkfront integration setup modal. (see next article for detailed instructions).
9. Click Verify Domain on your Business settings screen to complete the verification process.
